THE BLUESNEWS FROM THE WORLD OF THE BLUESBLUES FOR THE WEEKEND OF AUGUST 4-5, 2018 There’s a competition going on by the International Songwriting Competition which allows you to write songs and get them into this Songwriting Competition.  It gives the amateur and professional writers to have their songs looked at by professionals in an international arena.  Seventy one winners will share in cash and prizes.  Categories include Blues, Adult Contemporary, Children’s Music, Christian, Country, Comedy, Jazz….Any genre of songs you can write about. The deadline for getting your song in is September 19th….  Some of the judges are Ne Yo,  21 Savage, Marc Anthony, Tom Waits, Booker T. Jones, Joe Louis Walker, Bruce Iglauer, Danilo Perez, John Mayall  and many many others in the music industry…. Songs are accepted from all over the world and you can enter as many songs as you want.  All you got to do is put your song on video and upload it….
